Phase 2: Setup and Implementation Guide
Scope
This document provides a detailed roadmap for the setup and deployment of Unique's weekly bundle. It outlines the expected timeline, dependencies, and specific activities required from both the client and Unique. By following this guide, clients can ensure a smooth installation process and optimal configuration of the Unique product, leading to successful deployment and ongoing support.
Audience
This guide is intended for IT administrators and cloud architects responsible for setting up and deploying Unique's weekly bundle in Azure environments. It is also relevant for client support teams who will handle the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
Expected Duration
Minimum 2 months. If deviated from ULZ, minimum 3 months.
Dependencies
Pre-Installation Checklist: Ensure all items are fulfilled, checked, or mitigated.
Provisioned Resources: Ensure initial resources are provisioned as necessary.
Client Activities
Install Parts of the Bundle:
Verify prerequisites.
Install necessary parts of the bundle.
Configure and Install Unique Product:
Complete the setup and configuration of the Unique product.
Appoint and Train Support Team:
Appoint a first-level support team.
Provide necessary training for the support team.
Unique Activities
Provide Updated Releases Bundle:
Deliver the latest bundle release to the client.
Advise on Installation and Deployment:
Provide advisory support for installation and deployment processes.
Consulting Services:
Offer consulting on support services, SSO configurations, and initial setup.
Monitor deployment to ensure smooth operation.
Advisory Support:
Provide ongoing advisory support on configuration and installation.
Out of Scope
Customizations and Enhancements:
Client-specific customizations and enhancements (e.g., private API Gateway compatibility, AI model usage changes, etc.).
Any customizations/enhancements will incur additional charges and affect the timeline. These should have been identified in the PREPARE phase using the Pre-Installation Checklist.
Additional Notes
Coordination: Maintain coordination between the client's team and Unique's support to avoid misconfigurations.
Regular Updates: Schedule regular check-ins and status updates to track progress and address any issues promptly.
