Features

BETA Users can now upload and chat against images (PNG, JPG, JPEG).
- Model GPT-4o must be available to use this feature
- To enable the feature the space advanced settings must have the following configuration: "imageUpload": true,and “Upload in Chat” toggle must be enabled.

Improvements

Implemented caching to minimize bandwidth usage and prevent unnecessary re-downloads of images.
The ingestion process for PDF files has been optimized by removing photos and vector renderings. This change reduces the file size and complexity, leading to improved processing speed.
Docx files can be processed with Microsoft document intelligence
Improve error handling in the client app. Leading to reduction in the display of the error page
Significantly improved Full-text search (FTS) request speed. Affects documents search module using the “COMBINED” searchType.
Improve the ingestion processing pipeline to support documents with 100+ pages
The search functionality in space management for custom modules has been improved. Users can now find their desired modules in the AI modules section.
Store Space/Assistant information in user message so that it can be retrieved for analytics. Useful when a Space is deleted after a messages is sent.
When only one document is uploaded in a chat, the system now summarizes the document automatically without prompting the user to select which document to summarize.

Bug fixes

Fixed issue where chat interface automatically scrolls to the bottom, causing disruption in reviewing previous messages.
Resolved an issue where an informative toast message was appearing when attempting to create two templates with the same name for AI modules.
Fix issue where multiple module templates with the same name can be created.
Fix toaster not disappearing in Knowledge Base client App
