The Unique Bot Explained

What is the Unique Bot?

The Unique Bot joins your meetings to record, transcribe and support you in your meeting.

The Unique Bot can be invited automatically to your meetings (Recommended) or invited manually via the Unique Sidebar.

At the end of the meeting, the Unique Bot will transfer the recording to your Unique account. At the company level, it is determined whether the bot automatically joins every meeting or not.

What is the Unique Sidebar?

The Unique Sidebar displays the insights generated by the Unique bot (which you can find the explanation below) to support you in your meetings.

Language

This is the language in which the Unique Bot will transcribe your meeting and display the Live Transcript (which you can find the explanation below) in the Unique Sidebar.

Control the Unique Bot

The Unique Bot Controls component displays the status of the Unique bot.

Starting the recording

You can also manually invite the Bot by clicking the "REC" button.

Stopping the recording

The recording will automatically stop when all participants have left the meeting.

You can also click the "STOP" button or remove the Unique Bot from the list of participants.

1. What is Unique?

Unique is a platform that enhances your meetings with real-time support, automation, and collaboration tools. It includes features like recording, transcription, Key Moments, and more.

2. How does the Unique Bot join my meetings?

The Unique Bot can join your meetings automatically (recommended) or manually via the Unique Sidebar. You can configure these settings in your Company Settings or on a per-meeting basis.

3. Can I rename the Unique Bot?

Yes! You can rename the Unique Bot in your Company Settings. The new name will apply to all users in your company.

4. What is the Unique Sidebar?

The Unique Sidebar is your control center for the Unique Bot. It displays real-time insights, live transcripts, and allows you to manage the bot during meetings.

5. What happens to my recordings after the meeting?

Once the meeting ends, the Unique Bot transfers the recording to your Unique account, where you can review, share, and collaborate on it.

6. Can I change the transcription language?

The transcription language is set when the Unique Bot joins the meeting. While it cannot be changed during the meeting, you can adjust it after the recording is processed in your Unique account.

7. What are Key Moments?

Key Moments are highlights you can mark during a meeting. When you click the star icon, the next 30 seconds of the conversation are saved as a Key Moment.

8. How do I install the Unique Sidebar?

You can download the Unique Sidebar Desktop App or use it as a Microsoft Teams Extension or Chrome Extension. Visit the "How to Get Started" section for links.
