Introduction to the Configurable Upload File Formats For Space

This is a new feature designed to expand the capabilities of our existing chat interface. This feature enables space manager to be able to specify the allowed file upload formats that should be allowed in the chat.

Integration into Space Management

Upon the creation of a new Space (or modification) within the Space Management page, space manager can specify the allowed file formats by editing the Advance Settings json field and adding a new key called allowedFileTypes and giving it an array value containing the file formats that is to be supported by the space.

After specifying the file formats, click on “Submit” to Save the configuration and then Publish the Space.

Note: The “Upload in Chat” Toggle needs to be Enabled for this feature to work.
